VMware needed a seasoned marketer to design and lead the marketing efforts for global TAM services. On The Mark was chosen to develop the marketing strategy and plan, represent the marketing function on the global business team, and drive the on schedule/on budget implementation of the plan. During this full-time role, On The Mark's responsibilities included:

  • Generating over 30 TAM customer reference stories in one year
  • Developing a global marketing strategy and plan
  • Being the go-to person for all TAM marketing activities
  • Creating and managing TAM thought leadership by developing blogs, increasing social presence, and launching an analyst program
  • Initiating customer programs including customer webcasts and news content
  • Developing internal and external web content
  • Defining a sales tool model and producing the corresponding sales tools
