Microsoft: Marketing Domain Expert
Microsoft wanted to increase the value of its Microsoft Office Suite with different audiences, specifically marketing, finance, human resources, production, and other functional areas. They looked for senior experts in each field, people with broad and deep experience and track record of success. Microsoft asked On The Mark to be its marketing expert for the project.
On The Mark was asked to write a three-to-five-page ‘how-to’ article and supply related Office tools (e.g. a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet used for marketing budget tracking, a Microsoft Word document used for capturing target audience profiles, etc.) for a variety of marketing activities. The articles were featured on Microsoft.com to help promote the value of Microsoft Office to marketers. On The Mark provided over 25 articles and numerous tools on topics such as:
